Goals for 2013!

        I love the new year! It's not the resolution part because that's never interested me. Winter is a great time to be silent and meditate about the past and the future. A time to ponder the cycle of life and how to make it easier in order to make more time for family, hobbies, and relaxing. It's a chance to stop, take a look at everything that has happened, consider the challenges I've overcome and the ones that are still confronting me.

A Review: Marden's Surplus and Salvage

Location and Description

So the stores aren't actually in the Granite State, all of them are in the Pine Tree State. However, there are two very close to the border, one is about an hour east of the White Mountain area. If you're from New England and know of Job Lot, Marden's is very similar. A big and wonderful difference is that they have a fabric department - how glorious!

Ca va! This is a record of my journey taking place in the White Mountains with a significant focus on quilting.
